Ali! Ali! Ali!

Like many others. I have memories of Muhammed Ali. I remember watching his fights on TV at my house in Alaska when I was a boy. I remember the crowd chanting “Ali! Ali! Ali!” as he made his way to the ring. Great champion, great ambassador, great man. RIP Champ.

LDS Church Hosts 40th Annual BYU Women’s Conference

Dr. Jeff Roderick spent more than 15 years as a chiropractor at Madison Ridge Chiropractic in Rexburg, Idaho, before becoming an adjunct faculty instructor at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Heavily involved with his church, Dr. Jeff Roderick spends many hours helping the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS Church).

Headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah, the LDS Church is a Christian church that its followers consider a part of the original church created by Jesus Christ. In April 2016, the church announced statistics of its constituents for the 2015 year. It has a total church membership of more than 15.6 million people with 75,000 full-time missionaries.

On April 28-29, 2016, the LDS Church hosted its 40th annual BYU Women’s Conference, with Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the LDS Church and his wife Ruth Renlund addressing the crowd. He spoke about the development of charity, which leads to other Christ-like attributes.

More than 10,000 women gathered for the two-day conference, where they listened to church leaders, participated in nearby service projects, and attended classes. The conference’s theme of “One in Charity” encouraged attendees to get involved and help those in need.
