Be a Friend
It seems that so many people struggle with many things these days. One of them is a sense of belonging, or friendship. I have always thought that my true friends are people who make it easier to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a form of benevolence to be a friend. In the sense of being a friend, seeking another person’s highest good is the essence of true friendship. It is putting someone else first. With social media, the term “friend” is often used to describe a contact rather than an actual relationships. With social media, we have the ability to send your “friends” a message, but this is not the same thing as having a relationship with a person one on one. True friends influence others to rise a little higher and be a little better. Lets all try to be a better friend. Let us all try to find an opportunity to serve someone this week.
Jeff
